Ras Tewelde, also known as Renato Tomei, is a Rasta Reggae singer and composer. He began his musical journey at the young age of 14 and later developed a deep connection with the Rastafari faith and the land of Ethiopia. He has worked with several Jamaican artists and released his debut album in 2011.
In addition to his musical pursuits, Renato Tomei is also an academic researcher and author.
